Norhurst Technology Experts allow your organization to upgrade their current business system environment with a lower risk of system failure and cost over-run. Our Industry Leading IT System Support Consulting Professionals implement solutions for the following:

JAVA

Java is a programming language with syntax derived from C and C++. Java applications are typically compiled to byte-code (class file) that can run on any Java Virtual Machines (JVM) regardless of the computer architecture. Java is a general-purpose, concurrent, class-based, object-oriented language that is specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. It is intended to let application developers “write once, run anywhere” (WORA). Java is currently one of the most popular programming languages in use, particularly for client-server web applications.

J2EE

The Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application was designed to simplify complex problems with the development, deployment, and management of multi-tier enterprise solutions. J2EE applications are typically engineered to be distributed across multiple computing tiers.

DB2

The IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition is a relational model database server developed by IBM. It primarily runs on Unix, Linux, IBM, and Windows servers. DB2 can be administered from either the command-line or a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The Command-line interface requires more knowledge but can be more easily scripted and automated. The GUI is a multi-platform JAVA client that contains a variety of usability enhancements for the novice users. DB2 supports both SQL and Xquery. DB2 has a native implementation of XML data storage, where data is stored as XML for faster access using Xquery.

.NET

The .NET Framework (pronounced dot net) is a software framework that runs primarily on Microsoft Windows. It includes a large library and supports several programming languages which allows for multi-level operability (each language is able to use code that is written in other languages). Programs written for the .NET framework execute in a software environment (as opposed to a hardware environment) known as “Common Language Runtime” (CLR). CLR is an application virtual machine that provides important services such as security, memory management, and exception handling. The class library and the CLR together make up the .NET Framework. The Base Class Library provides user interface, data access, database connectivity, cryptography, web application development, numeric algorithms, and network communications. Programmers produce software by combining their own source code with the .NET Framework and other libraries. The .NET Framework is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Microsoft Windows Platform.
