Norhurst Proudly Donates to Local Scholarship Program
The Pittsylvania County Schools “Graduate of Merit” program was established to recognize and acknowledge the accomplishments of graduates who exemplify attributes of achievement, proficiency, character and social development demonstrated through commitment to excellence in education. The success of the program has been overwhelming as students pursue the honor and privilege of attaining recognition as a Graduate of Merit. Partnerships with corporations, small businesses, civic and church organizations ensure sponsorship for all Graduate of Merit recipients at the annual recognition ceremony. To further honor these outstanding students’ accomplishments, sponsors assist in providing scholarships. Norhurst Inc. has partnered with Pittsylvania County Schools and has generously donated $3,000 in scholarships to the 2015 Graduate of Merit program.
